When considering home care for you or your loved one, it is only natural to have questions regarding the kind of care you or your loved one will receive. We at Guardian Angel Senior Services, Inc. of the Billerica, MA area believe in answering all of your important questions so that you’ll be more at ease with our assisted living and home care services.

Q: How quickly can services begin?
A: Usually services can begin within a 48-hour period and often the same day.

Q: Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
A: Yes. We are licensed with the Division of Occupational Safety in the state of Massachusetts. Our license number is 7324 and our employees are covered under our insurance of Liability and
Workman's Compensation.

Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: Here at Guardian Angel Senior Services Inc. we are a private pay company. Although, if you have Long Term Care Insurance, you may be eligible for reimbursement of services we provide.

Q: Is there a minimum number of hours for service?
A: Yes, we have a 3-hour minimum. Please keep in mind that our services can go beyond personal care.

Q: What are your rates?
A: Our rates vary depending on what your needs are. Please contact us for a free assessment.

Q: Do you provide Live-In services?
A: We provide 24-hour care worked in shifts, keeping the number of caregivers you meet to a minimum.
And we also provide traditional live-in services.

Q: Do I have to provide transportation for the caregiver?
A: All of our caregivers have their own transportation. If you need them to transport you somewhere
( shopping, appointments, etc. ) you are required to reimburse for a portion of their mileage.

Q: Do you have an inclement weather policy?
A: This usually is no problem at all. We do our very best to arrive or find coverage for scheduled services. We do ask that there is ample parking and a clear path for walking into the home.

Q: What if I need to cancel a shift?
A: With the exception of emergencies and hospitalizations, we do require a 24-hour cancellation notice for a shift. If services are no longer needed, we ask that you provide us with a written 2-week notice.

Q: What kind of background checks do you do on your caregivers?
A: All of our employees go through extensive CORI, background, motor vehicle, and reference checks.

Q: What is respite care?
A: Respite care is short-term care that helps the family take a break from the daily routine and stress.

Q: How many caregivers will the client have to meet?
A: We do our best to keep the amount of caregivers to a minimum. Although it depends on the amount of hours needed, usually a client will have to meet at least two people.

Q: Do you provide care on holidays?
A: Our services are available 24 / 7.
